Make your own English Muffins

I tried my hand at making English Muffins this week. Our family goes through them like hotcakes! With the brand name ones costing $3.00 and up for only SIX, there is a substantial savings to be had making your own.

Its actually quite easy, if you have even the remotest familiarity with making breads.

I’m not ready to recommend the recipe I tried, as I want to play around with it a little, but give it a go!

I can make my own for about $1.12 for six, that is alot of money saved over time, if I keep at it!!

I have a recipe to be able to make my own too. I have been wanting to give it a try but I keep finding english muffin for $1 or less for 6, so I buy them instead and put a stash of them in the freezer. :)One of these days, I’ll take the plunge and just try to make some! 🙂
