Two-Year Molars

Is it just me? Two year molars are the WORST EVER! I am happy to announce that Ronan has FINALLY cut *one* molar. We’ve only been working on these since…October or so. The sleeplessness, the crankies, the non-stop comfort nursing, it can drive you to distraction! For some reason, there is NOTHING that just flat out WORKS for my insanely crabby teethers. Herbs, homeopathy, and good ol’ ibuprofen and orajel, some of it works, some of the time, but mostly it just doesnt. If I am missing some amazingly good teething remedy, someone let me know!

Keep Repeating: 1 down, 3 to go, this too shall pass!

The BEST thing is, that once those molars come in, you have a new happy child on your hands!

You know, I am going through the same thing right now. I have found that putting Orajel toothpaste on the toothbrush and letting my daughter go to town. But, this is only temporary relief. Regarding the sleeplessness, Ibuprofen before bed and a Tylenol dose at around 3am (if she wakes)seem to keep her pain down until morning.
