Spring Cleaning

I so enjoyed the amazing cleanliness of my house last year, after we got it all prepped for listing it, that since we are keeping it, I’m going to do alot of that extra cleaning again.

This is what I did today:

Washed all living room windows
Washed and/or vacuumed the sills/glides
Vacuumed the fireplace, lest you think this is a small task our bricks are about 8x6x2, and in a LOVELY dark red/black 70’s era style. MMMMmmmm.
Vacuumed the cobwebs off the ceiling
Vacuumed the couch and two chairs
The boys helped me wash down the baseboards.

And shortly I will be sweeping and mopping the floor.

About lisser

My name is Alyssa. I live with my husband and 2 young boys on our farm in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. I have been in the planning to launch a small scale farm from our acreage for the last 2 years. Much to my excitement 2010 brings the start of my dream to fruition. We are starting small, but will continue to grow as a valuable local food source in our community. We are an unschooling, attachment parenting family, with a love for the outdoors, and a passion for sustainable farming. I am a stay (and now work) at home mom. I enjoy reading, sewing, cooking/baking, canning and photography.
