FINALLY, after WEEKS of recovery, I was able to run all the intervals this morning. I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy. I was very motivated when I started, and getting injured at the end of week 2 was SUCH a bummer. I’ve been hiking 2-4 miles every Friday, but until today I had not yet been able to make it though a full run! I REALLY focused on form over speed today, as I dont want to reinjure myself. Hopefully I will now be able to complete the program. It will take me more than 9 weeks, as I’ve decided to only run 2 days, instead of three, since I’m doing a fairly long hike with an additional 32lbs on my back (in the way of a cute 2.5yr old).
